Short answer: be obsessive.
Few years ago, I had:
- 0 experience in hacking boxes
- 0 cybersec certificate
- 0 free time
But I needed to hack that lab machine to pass an interview.
So I:
- asked for a late start so I can prepare
- stopped all job searching
- quit my part-time job
- rushed to complete all of my school work
- bought a month of TryHackMe subscription
Knowing hacking is my true passion and no backup plans,
I focused all of my time and energy into this one goal.
And the rest is history.
So stop obsessing over which cert to get.
